Someone in Western Australia is $2.8 million richer after Saturday night’s $20 million Lotto Megadraw – but authorities don’t yet know who that is.
Because the punter’s ticket was unregistered, Lotterywest is still waiting for the newly-minted multimillionaire to come forward.
What they do know is where the ticket was sold – the aptly-titled Wanneroo Winners Lotto Kiosk.
It’s the second winning ticket sold at the Wanneroo outlet this year.
The store sold a Set For Life division one prize in May.
The Saturday draw was a good one for West Australians.
Nineteen players each collected a division two prize worth more than $11,000.
“As it stands, we’ve raised the bar having reached 50 division one winners this year and we’d love to add more to that tally before the end of the week,” Lotterywest spokesperson Sam Clark said.
“It’s not just our players that win, over $3 million was raised through ticket sales which will go back to the WA community through Lotterywest grants,” he said.
There are two more chances to win big this week.
Tuesday’s OzLotto jackpot is worth $10 million and Saturday’s draw could net a lucky Aussie $10 million.
